What It Costs to Rewire a House in Kansas City

What moves the price of a rewire

The Kansas City parts nobody writes down
- Kansas City enforces the 2017 NEC. New branch circuits are inspected to the code edition the city adopts, which sets where arc-fault and ground-fault protection is required. Independence enforces the 2023 edition, so the same rewire can carry different requirements twelve miles apart. Source.
- The permit is the contractor’s to pull. In Kansas City, electrical permits are issued to licensed contractors.
