Radon is one of those problems you can't see, smell, or taste - but it's the second leading cause of lung cancer in the US. It seeps up through the ground and gets trapped inside homes. Most homeowners have no idea it's happening. That's exactly why we take this work seriously.
Here's how the system works. We core through the slab in the basement, insert a PVC pipe, and route it up and out of the house. A dedicated radon fan creates negative pressure beneath the slab, pulling the gas out before it ever has a chance to enter your living space. It vents safely above the roofline - completely away from windows and any occupied areas of the home.
The interior pipe runs clean and tight through the space, and we include a manometer - that small U-shaped gauge you see on the pipe - so you always know the system is actively working. If the fluid level shifts, something's off and it needs attention. It's a simple but important visual indicator that gives homeowners real peace of mind.
On the exterior, the install is neat and matched to the home. The fan is mounted low on the wall with a dedicated weatherproof outlet right next to it. The pipe runs straight up the side of the house and exits above the peak. Clean lines, no mess, nothing that looks slapped together.
Radon mitigation is one of the most straightforward ways to protect the people living inside a home. The system runs continuously and quietly, and once it's in, you largely forget it's there - except for that manometer reminding you it's doing its job every single day.
