Most homeowners don't think about radon until a test comes back high - and even then, a lot of people aren't sure what to do next. We handle both sides of it. The mitigation system and the electrical work that makes it run properly. That combination matters more than people realize.

The radon system here is a sub-slab depressurization setup. A PVC pipe runs from below the foundation slab, up through the interior, and exits through the exterior wall. The fan mounted on the outside pulls radon gas out from under the home and vents it safely above living spaces. There's also a manometer installed on the interior pipe - that's the U-shaped gauge you'll see. It gives you a visual confirmation that the system is actually working. If the fluid levels are uneven, the system is running. Simple and reliable.

On the electrical side, we did a full panel change out. The new Siemens panel is cleanly loaded and every circuit is labeled - A/C, range, dryer, sump, bedrooms, garage, and more. We also installed a Siemens whole-home surge protection device right next to the panel. That's not something every electrician includes, but it protects your appliances and electronics from voltage spikes that can quietly cause damage over time.

These two services go together more often than you'd think. Radon fans need a dedicated, properly wired power source. When the electrical panel is outdated or overloaded, adding a mitigation system the right way means doing both jobs together. That's exactly the kind of work we're set up to handle - no subcontractors, no hand-offs.

Protecting your home starts with what you can't see. Radon is odorless and invisible, and an undersized or aging electrical panel can cause problems that build slowly over years. Getting both handled at once means peace of mind on two fronts.
